Unbelievably, the war in Ukraine continues to devastate people and animals in the crossfire. Veterinary care teams are continuing to make every effort to provide urgent medical care, food, and shelter to injured, displaced, and starving animals.
Thanks to your gifts, AVMF has directed almost $664,000 in disaster relief funding to help provide food, medical supplies, and emergency support to organizations providing care in danger zones.
With your support, together we can continue to support the good work of partner organizations like the Ukrainian Small Animals Veterinary Association (USAVA), the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW), and European Association of Zoos and Aquaria.
The Ukrainian Small Animal Veterinary Association (USAVA) is working tirelessly supporting veterinarians, animals, and those who care for them under the worst possible conditions. Watch this video below to hear more about the impact you have had on the Ukrainian veterinary community.

Veterinary clinics and shelters are overflowing with displaced pets who may be suffering injury and post-traumatic stress. Every day volunteers care for these animals with the goal of restoring their health and reconnecting them with family. Your gifts ensure that these animals get the nourishment they need.
