Dechra Pharmaceuticals Veterinary Scholarship
The AVMF is thrilled to partner with Dechra to offer fifteen $2500 dollar scholarships to students interested in equine sports medicine, internal medicine, or dermatology. Dechra is a global specialist in veterinary pharmaceuticals and a global leader in veterinary endocrinology and topical dermatology, have a broad portfolio of analgesia, anesthetics and products for the treatment of pain, and are also recognized as innovators in other specializations such as the treatment of equine lameness and differentiated generics.
A total of 15 scholarships, each valued at $2,500, will be awarded as follows
- Five scholarships for veterinary students with a demonstrated interest in equine sports medicine.
- Five scholarships for veterinary students with a demonstrated interest in internal medicine.
- Five scholarships for veterinary students with a demonstrated interest in dermatology.

Eligibility criteria
- Must be in their clinical year of study at an AVMA Council on Education (CVM) accredited college in the United States.
- Must be currently enrolled and in good standing with the CVM.
- Must be in good academic standing, maintaining a passing grade point average.
- Other criteria may be established by the committee from time to time.
